Ibose Ogbara: supporting education where the shoe pinches the most



"Ibose Ogbara, led by Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, the Member, House of Representatives, representing Kosofe Federal Constituency and Chairperson of the House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development, stems from a comprehensive needs assessment of the educational terrain of the Constituency . It is aimed at providing school essentials for Indigent pupils and supporting  academic excellence through regular engagement and interventions in the educational sector in  Kosofe. 


Conceived by the Education Team of Hon Ogbara, led by Hon Ganiu Adewole and  Hon Lanre Yusuf and ably supported and supervised by Hon Tola Abubakar, the Supervisor for Women Affairs ans Poverty Alleviation for Agboyi-Ketu LCDA and a key leader in the Ogbara network, the project leverages on the existing educational administrative structure of the state.  A visit to the office of the Education Secretary for Kosofe Local Government,  Hon Babatunde Soneye and the HOS for School Support in the Local Education Authority,  Mrs Adetayo Mojisola to officially invite them as project partners for the Initiative also provided the opportunity for the launch of the Ibose Ogbara component of the larger project which promises to revolutionise partnerships and impact in the Education space. 


The World Education Day launch showcased a meticulous commitment with the distribution of uniforms, branded socks, and writing materials, exemplifying a visionary approach to uplifting education. 



Guided by Hon. Ganiu Adewole, the delegation visited key schools, sparking infectious excitement among pupils and teachers. Hon. Kafilat Ogbara's tireless advocacy reflects a dedication to improving children's well-being.
