The inauguration of the new Council Chairman Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa for Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA scheduled for today Tuesday 16th 2020 had been postponed.
The postponement is not unconnected with the sudden death of Adebayo Oshinowo popularly known as Pepper, the Senator representing Lagos East in the National Assembly whose burial is taking place in his home town of Ijebu Ode today.
It is expected that a new date for the inauguration will be announced soon.
It will be recalled that the chairman of the local government,Dr Augustine Adeoye Arogun died two weeks ago and as the constitution stipulates,the vice chairman steps into his shoes.
