Alimosho LG Boss speaks on achievements as team marks three years




The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon recounted some of his achievements since assumption of office as Executive Chairman. 

The Executive Chairman appreciated Almighty Allah for sustaining this administration till today. He expressed his gratutude to the Executive members, the Legislature, staff and all the people of Alimosho for supporting and believing in this administration. 

Hon. Jelili Sulaimon presented his stewardship in the last three years. In the area of health, the administrstion had organized several sensitization and free health programme. The chairman took as his mandate to ensure each ward has at least one Primary health center. The administration commenced and commissioned a storey Bola Tinubu Primary Health Center, Akowonjo, another storey building PHC is ongoing at Olorungbebe street, Shasha. 

In the area of Education, the administration commissioned vocational tranining center for primary 5 and 6 in public schools, constructed Aregbesola Primary School, rehabilitated Abati Primary School among others. 

The administration also completed not less than 30 rosds and constructed Olatinpo street, Ogo Oluwa street while Ben Esther, Azeez Ayorinde and Oyinlola street is almost completed too. The administration also constructed drainage at Igbehin Adun and transformer was installed at Olorungbebe street. The construction of two storey building ultra modern office complex is also at 70% completion. 

The administrstion initiated several social programmes and projects which includes Thursdays and Fridays "Oja Irorun", annual Chairman's football competition, International Girls Child Day, monthly empowerment for residents, among others. 

The chairman assured residents of completion of ongoing projects. He also admonished everyone to comply with Covid-19 rules and regulations at all time. 

The chairman appreicate the consistent effort of Hon. Francis Adebisi, Vice Chairman, the Executive Cabinet members, all the Councilors, administrative members and all residents in Alimosho.
