Dear H.E Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu,

Attention: Our Distinguished Political Leaders.

We hope this letter finds you well, The Mainland Youth Initiative, a Community based Organisation in Lagos Mainland respectfully appeal for the reappointment of the former Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folashade Adefisayo, in recognition of her exceptional performance and dedication during her previous tenure.

Under her  leadership as Commissioner, the educational landscape of our state experienced remarkable improvements. We believe that her reappointment is not only justified but also essential for the continued progress of our education system. Permit us to outline some of the reasons why we strongly advocate for her return to this crucial role:

During her tenure, Mrs Adefisayo introduced innovative initiatives (Eko Excel) that led to significant improvements in academic outcomes. Standardized test scores and overall student performance witnessed a commendable rise, reflecting her commitment to elevating the quality of education in our state.

The strategic planning and execution of infrastructure projects under Mrs Adefisayo's leadership contributed to the enhancement of learning environments. New schools were established, and existing ones were renovated, our own Aiyetoro grammar school about few days ago took delivery of about 100 new chairs and tables ensuring that students have access to safe and conducive spaces for learning.

She  initiated programs for teacher training and development, ensuring that educators were equipped with the latest teaching methodologies and tools. Her emphasis on their professional growth directly translated into more effective classroom instruction.

Under her guidance, policies were implemented to promote inclusivity in education, ensuring that students with varying needs and backgrounds had equal access to quality learning opportunities.

Mrs Adefisayo actively engaged with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders, fostering a sense of collaboration and shared responsibility for the education of our youth. This approach contributed to a more holistic and supportive educational environment.

Her commitment to evidence-based decision-making ensured that resources were allocated where they were most needed, resulting in a more efficient and effective education system.

Mrs Adefisayo has also contributed her own quota to political development through empowerment of women in her community, where she had lived for over 30years, she has been very exceptional with her interpersonal relationship with political leaders in Lagos mainland and Lagos State in general.

We firmly believe that Mrs Adefisayo's reappointment would provide continuity to the progress achieved and set a positive trajectory for the future of education in our state. Her experience, vision, and proven track record make her an invaluable asset to our educational community.

We kindly request your thoughtful consideration of our appeal and the reappointment of Mrs Folasade Adefisayo as the Commissioner for Education. We are confident that her continued leadership will contribute to the advancement of education and the betterment of our state.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
