ALIMOSHO: Councillor Donate Borehole Water System to Community, Road Slab, Food Packages To Children And CDAs


The Councillor representing the good people of 'Ward A', comprising part of Iyana Ipaja and Oki /Alaguntan area of Agbado -Oke Odo LCDA, Honourable Busola Esther Afolabi has donated Borehole Water System and road slab to the people of the community.

The yearly event had in attendance the Executive Chairman of the Local government, Engr. David Famuyiwa, the Vice Chairman who was  ably represented by Comrade Areola Olaniyi, The secretary to the local government amongst  other dignitaries and party stalwarts.



The Chairman in his words, "This is indeed a good one from our councillor, she is actually challenging others to be up and doing. I am really happy for you and our party the All progressives congress. May God continue to be with you my dear sister, you are indeed making us proud. "

The event also had children numbering about hundred and twenty in attendance with food packages given to them all, the widows  and CDAs within the political ward were also benefitted.

In her speech "I am indeed grateful to almighty God making it possible for me and my team to be able to come up with this, when we started three years ago people thought it is not achievable or it would not see the light of the day but today we are here celebrating God 's fatefulness for the third edition in a row. "

"In the previous editions, we focused only on the widows by empowering them and also food packages as support  but this year, we felt there is a need to include other people like the children and the entire community. You can see the crowd, it is really not easy but we would continue to do our part to support the government at Local ,State and Federal level in our own little way."

"I can assure our people that, by next year, God willing, we will grow bigger than this, it is a gradual process."

Honourable Busola welfare programme is a yearly programme she had committed to be doing in and out office to support her community as a way of giving back. This is the third edition in a row.
